  6. Well Cal and I got out today for some smallie fishing on the north end of Simcoe. They were on today, we got them on everything from jerkbaits, to spinnerbaits, to tubes and dropshots. Even got some on my new prototype bait, you'll see it when it's ready. We caught about 15 fish today, about 19 pounds for a tournament, not overly big for Simcoe but respectable. Even got a n ice pike, which I havent caught to many of outside of Cook's Bay. Threw some tourney shirts on for pictures, but it was not an actual tournament, just figured the pics would look more professional haha. Notice the same name on both shirts haha, i might have to photoshop those later. Cal with his spinnerbait pike. A nice dropshot fish Our four biggest fish of the day, all in the 4 lbs class. Hope you enjoyed, keep readin'

  12. thanks guys, i had a blast this weekend.
  13. tribs is short for tributaries, the rivers that flow into the lake. 15'6 is way too long for the eastern tribs, definitely a Niagara/Saugeen kind of deal, big rivers. 13'6 or even an 11'6 will do for the easterns and your westerns like bronte and credit
  14. Sorry, I'm very busy with school, and I've been fishing too much, so no time for a thorough report. Friday Kelli and I headed out to Cooch to try some smallies. Figured the limestones would be on... wrong. But about a km north of the stones they sure were, a few boats out there, even some largies. Saturday Cal and I braved the winds to fish the north end of Simcoe. We chose the north end to stay out of the wind, I dont usually like that area, but the dang roughest ride of my life from Barrie to almost Orillia was certainly worth while. We dragged tubes and dropshotted in 18-30 feet for pig smallies. Even got a tagged fish. Sunday Had a tournament on Gloucester Pool. Our goal was to get a limit of smallies, then look for a big largemouth. We did what we wanted and weighed 14 pounds. Good e nough for 5th place!
  15. Chuck Liddell Vs. Keith Jardine <- I'll take Liddell Mauricio Rua Vs. Forrest Griffin <- I'll take Shogun Jon Fitch Vs. Diego Sanchez <- Fitch Kazuhiro Nakamura Vs. Lyoto Machida <- Machida Thiago Tavares Vs. Tyson Griffin <- Griffin
