  10. My grandfather races pigeons to this day. I remember many of a day sitting. Outside the coup waiting for those damn birds to show up we always joked that his birds were walking home haha. It can be quite the expensive sport. My grandfather buys eggs from holland for $400 and that doesn't even guarantee it hatches. He also sends birds to Africa once a year to race in some huge event. Won lots of money I guess lol

  13. Heh guys. Got the boat out for the first time yesterday and noticed the steering was quite stiff. The steering link rod needs greasing. My question is, since there is no fitting to grease the shaft, do I just apply grease by hand on the retracted shaft? Thanks guys

  15. Hey guys Had a few questions regarding the mounting of a new fish finder I have a Nitro X 4 that came with a factory lowrance unit built rift into the console. My new fish finder won't be able to be mounted in my console I also want to keep te original unit there for when I trade the boat in My new finder is an 898 HD SI Humminbird. I want to mount it on the starboard side of my console, is a ram mount my best option?? Or are there other options available. Are ram mounts adequate for rough water, hate to lose my new fish finder lol The mounting space I have at the side of my console is limited. When drilling into the fibreglass, are self taping fasteners adequate or would bolts be the better option?? Thanks for any tips guys
  16. Lake Bernard can be hit or miss. The locals are generally on the fish but don't be afraid to stry from the shanty towns. Whitefish. Try two way minnow spreader just of bottom. Or meegs/ bad boy tipped with a chartreuse tube Lakers. Try Williams spoons. White tubes and large shiners on a tip up Ling. dead minnows right on bottom. Or glow in the dark jig tipped with minnow. Ling fishing is more productive at night. They should be starting to spawn shortly so it should be fairly productive. Hope this helps Be sure to talk to the local tackle shop They can point you in the right direction
