trolling for walleyes with spinner baits?
wallyboss replied to jedimaster's topic in General Discussion
I use Berkley Gulp Nightcrawlers on my worm harnesses and Up north I outfished my buddies 5 to 1 and they were using live minnows on a single hook spinner rig. -
Most cars do that when you have a bulb that is burnt.

trolling for walleyes with spinner baits?

Solo that's what I call spinner rigs or worm harnesses. So if this is what he meant by spinnerbaits then he is right on the money. But they are not called spinnerbaits., -
trolling for walleyes with spinner baits?
wallyboss replied to jedimaster's topic in General Discussion
I agree with Roy , that there are far better lures for walleyes than spinnerbaits ( yes I have caught eyes with a spinnerbait also but )) Spinner rigs ( worm harnesses) now there is a walleye lure. My go to lures for locating eyes in a smaller lake or river. In a bigger lake then I would probably troll around with a crankbait. I found a add-on for a bottom bouncer on the weekend that slips over the weight part and then you move to one side like a rudder to get it to go away from the boat. i havne't tried it yet, but looks good. -
If they say per dozen and you get 12 I would say that you got what you asked for. If you ask for a dozen then you should get 12!!!!

Snack pack I've seen many fishers and this wasn't one. This was a definetly a cougar the only thing is that, it was black, that's what I found very strange.

I agree with Jbird about shooting one to believe but the cougars are on the Endangered list so If I ever shoot one you can be sure that somebody will find it on the side of the road and not tied to my pickup .

I don't know how Look are still in business. I had them for a while until I lost line of sight to the tower, because of trees growing between my antenna and there towers. When I first contacted them to get them installed (only high speed internet available in my area at that time) they wqanted to charge me for antenna 40ft tower and I told them that if they wanted me as a customer that they will have to install the tower free of charge. They did but when I called to get disconnected I asked when they were going to come and remove the tower all they said was that that tower was now mine. So I now have a 40ft tower worth about 800.00 attached to my house and i don't need it. Anybody needs a tower at a good price??? That was 4 years ago ...

I was fishing in Northern Ontario this week and one night coming back from Lake X (I don't name the lake just because I don't know the name) we saw something in the middle of the road that was black, solid black, being far from it we first tought it was a small bear, but getting closer to it we saw that it didn't walk like a bear does, all of a sudden the animal turned sideways and my buddy just jumped on the brakes, it had the round face of a cougar and the long tail of a cougar but it was all black. One leap and it had jumped over the creek on the side of the road. I lived in Northenr Ontario for 22 years and I have been hunting and fishing Northern Ontario for as long as I can remember and my fishing buddy is 77 years old and he spends his life in the bush. He gets rid of his 4wheeler every 3 years because of high mileage, He has never seen anything like this ever. But this was not finished about 2 miles further down the road we saw another one and this one was almost twice the size of the first one. The first one we saw we tought that it might've been a black wolf but as soon as it went sideways we saw that it was definetly not a wolf because of the round face. After seeing the second one I asked my buddy to pull over to get my camera out of the Argo just in case. the only other thing that we saw after that was a lynx that stood at least 3 feet high, it was a gorgeous animal , but it was a bit too quick for the camera. One thing about my camera is that I have to hold the button halfway down until a small light comes on then take the picture, wish I had one that was aim and shoot, cause by the time the light came on it was too late. It would've been a good picture because it had a hare in it's mouth. Has anybody ever heard of a black cougar?? I have looked on the Net for pictures and the only thing that I can find that is exactly like the animal I saw was a panther , but I have never heard of any in Ontario, The area was about 110 miles north of Timmins. Around Fraserdale (Abitibi Canyon)

So o o oo o . . . . Do Ya T'ink You're REALLY Tough? (NF)
wallyboss replied to Photoz's topic in General Discussion
all I know about the size was that it went in the the urether and got stuck I tought he said 4 cm it might've been 4mm, but it sure felt like 4 inches. CarpeDiem I did mention to my wife that they compare that pain to giving birth, Her response was " not for 34(*&^$^%#(%*&( hours" So I stayed quiet about that one!!!!! -

I had one of those last year 2 days before walleye opener at BOQ. It hurts only when it moves. My got stuck between my kidney and bladder. Doctor waited 3 months before lasering it. It was measured at 4 cm by an Ultrasound technician. The bashing that I got by the waves at BOQ did not help at all. Thank God for pain killers. You said that you went under the knife?? they couldn't blast it with the laser. They put me under for it and they had to put in a stent so that the damage to the urethra could heal then 2 weeks later I had to go back in to remove it, that one was done while I was awake. -
A poll is usually to voice your opinion!!!! I voiced mine. I really don't care if they had a reason to poach!!!!!!They still poached and they were fined for it. And the other concern about Cronzy I don't know him personally and all I have to go with is his fishing show(which this poll was all about) and he is still my 297,00,001 choice.

If you want a very good price to quality ratio try an Okuma.

Algonquin has been alive and kicking for 1000's of years, but some logging company thinks that they can improve on that!!!!!The rest of Ontario has been pretty well been clearcut so the park is probably one of the next to be raped by money hungry companies. Hopefully the Ontario Government has enough balls to say NO.
