Canada dude your last comment is right only if they are fishing only one day. LEGALLY (maybe not ethically) but if they are fishing 5 days, the same guy can catch all 20 of them But it would have to be 4 a day then he would give it to 1 guy then do the same thing all other days. But he can't catch more than a daily limit a day.
-
I'll have to order some thanks GCD
-
Do you buy those already setup like that or do you make your own.
-
I totally agree with you JWL, but if he doesn't catch and keep more than 4 daily and gives those away then it is legal, doesn't mean it's ethical but it is legal. But if he was catching a limit, coming back in, giving those away and going out for more on the same day , then I would 've had a good talk with him and that is illegal..

Could be good off of a tip-up.

HUGE PERCH!!!!!!!! Congrats. Nice to be able to fillet a perch like that in the summer and not have it full of worms. Thank god for Northern Ontario. I going up there next week. Sure looks like a ling to me.

If he was catching more than a daily limit and giving them away that is considered illegal. But if he was going out everyday and only catching a daily limit , he can give those fish away to anybody. And they don't need a license to possess fish. We are back at that thread JWL.

The problem I ahve with catfish is that they usually poke me when I go to throw them back in. So i usually grab on of the spikes with my longnose pliers and toss em back in that way. Always carry in your tacklebox a small bottle of hand sanitizer. if you get poked just wash your hands with the sanitizer and the sting will go away instantly.

Doubleheader I think that having your wife in the boat with you is what saved that guy from a good beating. There are morons like that everywhere.

Chances are if it was broken you would not be able to move it. Probably just a bad sprain, ice it up for 20 minutes at a time every couple of hours to get the swelling down and you should be able to go fishing no problem. If it is your casting hand I might put a tether cord on the rod and on your wrist just in case. Used to do that to my son when I let him borrow my rods when he was younger.

When I leave for a week or so, I make some Super Ice. I mix salt in with the water then I freeze it. It stays colder for a lot longer.

Rich leave it out in the sun for a couple of weeks and then it might be pretty good moonshine.

Wacky is the way to do it!!! Just remember to slow it down as slow as you can , then slow it down just a bit more than that and you are in business. And I agree with Daniel M I use o-rings also and i can catch 10-12 smallies on the same senko. That small toll that he put a link in for is amazing, you could proably make one yourself but for a couple of dollars at Bassproshop.

Good old drivers ed teachers. I remember mine when i was a teenager. He had a cottage at the same lake as our cottage, my course was given on Sundays. So he would pick me up at the cottage, to drive into the city and I would get my driving hours this way. Well what do most people do at a cottage on a Saturday night. They drink , so every Sunday morning he was hung over so he would sit in the passenger seat and as soon as we were on the highway he would fall asleep. And I was passing cars doing 120km/hr with Drivers Ed signs all over the car. To say that a lot of drivers Ed teachers are in it just for the money , would be right. If at first you don't succeed try and try again.!!! If that tester thinks that you are not ready for your G2's then I am glad that she didn't pass you. Because I drive on those roads also.

Boat Capacities? AN answer from Canadian Coast Guard.

If an accident was going to happen and (heaven forbids) you kill somebody, don't expect the insurrance company to bail you out. As they will find out after there investigation that you went over the maximum allowed and they will not pay. same thi g as having a motor that exceeds the max for the boat. i don't think that you can be fined but don't give the insurrance a reason to cancel your coverage. -
Very good ad for his AMSOIL sponsor. I would send AMSOIL an e-mail and attach this whole thread on it.

Flurocarbon is very brittle if you don't wet the knot well. It heats up and gets brittle.
