Pick me!! Pick me!! I am hoping to be adopted by WFN and Rogers Personal TV as a truly deprived angler. Just imagine how many reports i would be posting if i won a 17' Tracker Boat with Trailer, 2 grand to spend at BPS and a lessons from a WFN Pro angler. I've never posted a report that actually had a pic of a fish in it. That must say alot right there. I need your votes fellow OFNers, to put me over the top. Read my essay and vote today and every day from now until the end of July. I'm currently number 36 on page 4 and hoping to move up fast. Vote Now and Vote Often. With your help i can finally be cured of DAD. Help me turn this into this http://www.wfn.tv/rogers/archives.php?page=4 -End shamless plug- Cheers, FOTB

I think i'll pass on that. I'm more needy then you, so i think i'll vote for myself. I need to get out more and what a better way then to win an awesome bass boat, a couple of grand to spend at BPS and lessons from a WFN angler like K-Dawg. Go here to vote for me. I'm the one with the pic of the tiny perch. Currently on page 1 (number 11) and living in Ottawa. http://www.wfn.tv/rogers/archives.php?page=1 My Blog Entry FOTB

OK..So I lied...another Carp Report - June 20
RobHall replied to ccmtcanada's topic in General Discussion
You can lie all you want, when it comes to Carp reports. To think i went to bed early last night, thinking there would be no Cliff & Carol's Carp Adventure report until sometime next week. I've never fished for Carp before and hope to give it a try sometime down the road. In the meantime i will enjoy Carp fishing through your reports and those of all the other Carping members like Photoz, Wolfville, Victor, MJL, DSN and few others. Have a safe trip to Lakair. I look forward to your next report as well as all the other lakair reports next week. Cheers, FOTB -

Congrats on the 37" King Fishergirl72!! Some day i hope to do a charter on the Big O. Thanks for sharing. Those inches will look pretty good added to Team 9's "Anglers Anonymous" total. It even qualifies for the 2 bonus inches at OFAH. That a possible 39" to Team 9's total. FOTB

LAKAIR, Year One ! (and then some, more pics)
RobHall replied to Spiel's topic in General Discussion
Thanks Speil, Roy, Lew and Fishdawg, All the pics you posted were awesome. Thanks for sharing. It really gives you a sense of just how much the Lakair g2g has grown since 2001. I got a good laugh out of this pic. If i drank that many beer, they would be carrying me out on a This is another great shot. I hope all OFNers have a safe and enjoyable trip. May the fishing be good and the partying be better. Have a beer or 3 for me gang. I look forward to going to the Lakair g2g in 08 and give camping a try for the 1st time in years. I found this OFC 2004 vid kicking around on OFR. http://www.ontariofishingreels.com/ofn2004cable.html Cheers FOTB -
Half my fishing hours are spent looking for that elusive Muskie. Having the Ottawa & Rideau Rivers within a few minutes drives has it's advantages. The other half is divided between eye's, Pike, Bass, Panfish and sometimes Lake trout. Carp and Salmon are on my to do list. FOTB

Help needed - Which of these Provincial Parks has the best fishing?
RobHall replied to 007's topic in General Discussion
Our group spent a week on Restoule at Northern Pines Camp in July 2005. We were 5 families and the fishing was almost non-existant. I think the weather played a big part in that though. Generally the waters of Lake Restoule have Pike, Muskie, Whitefish, Small Mouth Bass, Lake Trout and Walleye. The owner of the lodge eventually took as to small back lake teaming with Bass. We were pulling them in one after the other. I hope things are better for you in 2007. FOTB -
The lakair g2g sure has grown over the years. What started with 17 and has now grown to a group of 44 and counting. Should be a real blast. I look forward to all the lakair reports in 2 weeks. FOTB

Nice vid and some decent cats. Thanks for sharing. FOTB

Since the summer of 2005, I have been reading the threads/posts about the much anticipated Lakair g2g's that have occured every year for the past several years. As the old saying goes...a picture is worth a 1000 words. It's too bad you can't do a search now and come up with lakair threads of previous years. I'd sure like to see some older group pics, etc of the g2g, from the very first time and as the years have gone by. Does anyone who has been going since the very beginning, have pics they could share? Or can any point me to where i could find these threads/pics? I know the group has gotten bigger over the years, as new members join in the fun. I wonder who has been going from the very beginning. I also wonder about the story behind the following pic of TJ holding a monster ski. Is this a Lakair record? When was the pic taken? Who was there that year?...etc. Cheers FOTB
