  1. ive always found it funny that guys will buy $30,000 boats, thousands on gas, and go and buy their gear off of temu im not much of a gear snob, but at least buy some used decent gear. Most of my rods are used...fishing rods dont "go bad" hell most high end used reels i buy just need a quick clean and lube. Thats why they are high end, the parts are designed to last basically forever.

  2. Some guys from NY who I helped 15 years ago when they first start fishing the Kawartha's send me a report and pictures when they get up to Canada . They Fished Sturgeon lake for Muskies 4 days and had a good time 10 Muskies in the boat 5 of those were 40" or bigger several big follows the only bad news is they also caught 3 Pike . A Canadian friend I met 20 years ago was also on Sturgeon with his wife a day last weekend . His wife out fished him again from the back of the boat with a 43" er , he lost one at the boat and had several follows they also caught 2 Pike . He said I could post his wife's picture with her fish it's a nice one . Hank Jr

  3. I definitely would never spend the amount of time and energy I do muskie fishing and run something like a Piscifun...

  4. That could be a very expensive mistake if the temp(s) drop and a power outage occurs. Just treat it as putting the boat to sleep all safe and sound
