I lost a dear dear friend this week. All of a sudden, no warning, just gone. Not often you have a close friend that you golf with, hunt with, fish with. He was one of my greatest friends of all time. RIP Bob Loved ya. I post this, not for sympathy, please don't, but look at your close friends and realize tomorrow you could wake up and they're gone.

Salsa making day today. Grandkids are coming over for probably the last swim of the season. Grilling up steak and shrimp fajitas tonight for the crew.

Sorry to hear that, it's tough when you lose a close friend like that. My closest bud and I were like brothers for 40 years and always together. He's the reason we bought this house here in the boonies as they were only a couple miles down the road. It was great for 18 months then he suddenly got sick and died. My wife and his wife are still best friends after 1/2 a century but at least I've still got a head full of memories.

Be careful at the gas station also. I noticed something was wrong on a purchase I made. I NEVER purchase higher grade gasoline except for my garden stuff, lawn mower,snowblower. Because of long storage. . . I filled up last week and as I was putting away my receipt (I keep all of my gas purchases, have since 2016) I noticed on the last fill up (COSTCO) I purchased the expensive stuff (1.69 L) I always press the regular button. It could be that the pump did not make the switch from the previous purchase! I did not notice while filling up. It was only a half tank and it came to 52.00!!! just a thought.
