  1. Decided to take a personal day and fish the Kawarthas with a buddy that hasn't been out on the water for years.. Water temps were perfect (low 70's) and the fish were eating. Tied my PB day with 6 muskies in the boat, 3 came unbuttoned... Capped it off with this fat 44 incher that followed earlier in the day but didn't commit.

  3. I have a Rapala electric. Didn't believe in them until one day crappieperchhunter and I came home with a bucket of crappies. I have fillited so many fish I can almost do it blindfolded but he pulled out his electric. The two of us started out side by side and I was blowen away, he was cleaning 3 to my 1 and doing just as nice a job. The next day I went to CTC and bought one. It took a little practice but I love it so much my son and son-in-law now have them as well and use them all the time. The trick is to let the knife do it's job and I can assure you there is less waste than with a regular filliting knife.

  4. Sorry, didn’t update. With ReefRunners help I had a decent time on Canal. We ended up with 7-9 3 lbs. bass and 1 @ 4lbs. Nothing huge but definitely a bass lake and they are there if you know where to look ( 6-8 ft edge of weeds for us ). Only 1 pike surprisingly…

  5. My kids got me a Bubba Electric (lithium battery) Fillet Knife for Christmas. It's a game changer. Comes with different sized blades. I like to put on fish fries at the cottage for the all the kids and grandkids. Of course, Grandpa would have to do all the work. Now its so easy....zips through a pile of fish in minutes...
