Cool! I'm surprised your Pup stayed in the Canoe when the Deer came into view. 

Actually I'm surprised he(?) stayed in the Canoe, period.

The 15 mile creek is very slow and meandering. There is a lot of farm run off that goes into this creek. Additional rain contributes to the color as well. Is what it is.

Angel, she, was very well behaved. Got along with cats dogs and people. Never a concern. As can been seen in this pic, she just stood there watching the black mink. The Malinois I have now, tan color with a black face, she would be going nuts wanting a piece of it.  I have bird feeders in the back yard and April, the latest Mal, just goes nuts chasing the squirrels. She almost got one, once. But thankfully it got away.
