You can no longer buy Crayfish in Ontario. You can however catch them. Get some boots a small minnow net and go to any local stream with a rocky bottom place the minnow net in front of you about 2 feet away and kick rocks from side to side. Lift the net put the crayfish in a container and away you go...

Grand river is full of them

Just find some rocks and flip them over and there should be some swimming around.

They are not that hard to catch.

Our native crayfish stocks have been decimated by the American Signal crayfish great big red clawed things, on the continent France spain they are a real pain in the proverbial they are just about the only things that can chew the boilies we use apart from thre poisson chat thats anothrt story and they love em, little buggers. Can I say that on here?? hope so not really a swear word in UK

BTW, they are very delicious. Many ppl say crayfish tastes better than lobster. Just boil them for 15 minuts and eat with beer. The only bad thing is that you have to put crayfish in a boiling water alive...

That's why i never cook them.

Crawfish are the best food around I wouldnt trade them for any other seafood. Feeding them to fish should be punishable by a lose of your tastebuds for a week.
