The other one had more comfortable seats and is virtually indestructable, but the Sportspal is 50lb's lighter. Beyond spending 2-3K on a kevlar squareback of some kind, it's the lightest squareback canoe available. So yeah, I like the Sportspal better. Actually I am surprised he still wants to talk to me after we took him on a death walk on Simcoe in the winter (6kms + in deep snow - still got skunked). We had him believing we were in kahoots with his wife for his life insurance policy I think he is crazy for trying to get into politics, but I have to hand it to him he does put his money where his mouth is when it comes to conservation work.
