Old Ironmaker Posted January 13, 2017 Report Posted January 13, 2017 (edited) And I haven't used the shovel yet. The broom a few times. I'm on the phone tonight talking to a pal living outside Chesley, he is looking at 5 feet of snow. Our grass is green. My wife raked leaves today before it started raining again. We are lucky for sure, unless you own a sled and skis. I am concerned about the river flooding when the ice lets go. Edited January 13, 2017 by Old Ironmaker
wormdunker Posted January 13, 2017 Report Posted January 13, 2017 Hey Rick I do hope you get well soon. To have to drive in that blizzard must have been horrible! I've often thought about relocating to a remote northern community but I also have to think of medical care as I get older. I've driven that trip before & it's along trip even in summer conditions.
manitoubass2 Posted January 13, 2017 Author Report Posted January 13, 2017 Thanks Brian! We have good healthcare at home, just not much in the way of specialists. Sunny conditions for the ride home today!!!
