jimmer
A buddy and I were able to hit one of those small Haliburton lakes yesterday to take advantage of one of the better weather days recently. We hit the water around 11 am and were off by 4:30 pm. We easily caught over 30 bass using twisters, wacky rigs, and 6 inch Texas rigs. None of them were over 2 1/2 lbs, but the action was amazing. Moosebunk
Fun times when they're on the go like that. Water temp?
AKRISONER
have the waters reached the elusive 40th temp plateau yet?
jimmer
Didn't really check the water temp, but I would say it was in the low 50's.

manitoubass2
Gotta love those days!!! Odd to hear using twisters(I do) but it seems kinda rare for bass fishing

Odd to hear using twisters(I do) but it seems kinda rare for bass fishing They love them in this lake for some reason and easier to work with in the varying depths. They also catch the lakers that are stocked in the lake.
