motion
Hi guys. I am planning a trip with my son out to Scugog this weekend. I have fished the lake years ago with not much sucess. We have a boat and I would love to see my son hook into one of the famed muskies on the lake. Any tips that would help make this trip an enjoyable one? Thanks to all in advance. Terry
I was there last weekend and there were more dead carp floating and stinking everywhere then you could shake an ugly stick at... I felt that is why we couldn't catch anything...I don't know if it's going to be any better by this weekend, so it will be a couple more weeks till I go back
ccmtcanada
I've never had success on Scugog on a boat. Mind you, I dont know what I'm doing...LOL. Wish I had some tips for you!!! Terry is right however, there is a large Carp die-off going on right now up there. If you decide to try it out...good luck!
Entropy
I hit one of those many dead carp with my boat last week. My motor was ok, but the carp turned to mush. Entropy
motion
Yikes!!!!! Sounds like Simcoe's Cooks bay (my second choice) is a better deal. Don't know if I can take the dead carp "soup" in Scugog.
