tough to get on last year,rummored there was some housing going on in the area,any info on a public launch would be appreciated.thx

Havent been there in 15 years, but it sounds like the freebee launch on west shore is gone? What about the campground at the northwest corner...is it still an option?

The campground at the NW corner is gone, housing going in, no launch there any more. The only launch left is on Blue Bird road on the south side, take airport road to get there. The Blue Bird launch is not as good as the old closed launch on the west side by the factory.

Luckily when we had property up there we had our own private launch... I wonder what became of the place...
