misfish Posted March 25, 2016 Report Posted March 25, 2016 I have fished this spot with Terry, for about the last 6-7 years. This tree was on the brink back 6-7 years ago, of coming down the hill. I took a picture of it today, and it,s still standing tall. Im always keeping one eye on the float and one on the tree. It,s amazing the strength of the roots .
manitoubass2 Posted March 26, 2016 Report Posted March 26, 2016 When the trees are that close brian its not just the strength of the roots, its how intermingled they are. On the rez I removed about 300 trees on the pow wow site to make room for a new parking lot/camping. I was kinda shocked and really had to watch what I was doing. Sometimes Id go to remove a tree and another tree 10ft away would start tipping with it
BillM Posted March 26, 2016 Report Posted March 26, 2016 That one will be in the drink like the rest of them were last year (Or was it the year before, lol)
