My season on the ice

Spent a lot of time on the ice this winter, but the fishing sucked. A week of above zero temps makes me think today was the last day on this ice.

Nah.. it'll puddle real nice and self flood itself for next week for some nice smooth ice! Minus C every night and same for all next week.

Of all the sticks in that picture Rob. The wooden sherwood goalie stick stood right out. The only stick my son would use. From Atom, up to midget.

 

Growing up,I used Hespelers or koho. But I was a defense men. Needed the lumber at times. LOL.

Good on the Hespelers made right here in southern Ontario town of Hespeler. Do you remember Wally sticks? I grew up on them. In the 60s a Wally cost my father $5.00!
