Anybody fish horseshoe lake by minden?

I'm supposed to be going up to a cottage on horseshoe lake this weekend and wanted to get some fishing in; but I haven't fished the lake before so, just wondering whats in there, and if the fishing is any good this time of the year.

pretty well everything in there now, bass, pike, muskie, stocked rainbows, go through to Mountain Lake for lakers (closed now), take your pick

 

if it was me, I'd go for Esox

Some good bass as well. Depending on water temps, they may still be in the huge shallow area behind Schuylers Island. If you are looking for rainbows in Horseshoe, look for current.
