peter23 Posted August 3, 2013 Report Posted August 3, 2013 Going up to stoco lake tomorrow around tweed onatrio. Looking for a chance at a giant lunge. The muskie in the kawarthas are fun and plentiful but i havent got anything over 40". Just wondering if anyone knows some spots, lures and locations on stoco and could give me a bit of help. Thanks in advance! Peter
Musky or Specks Posted August 3, 2013 Report Posted August 3, 2013 I fished it once in October so don't know if the pattern will work this time of year. We fished parallel to anywhere we could find pads and dollar lilies. Used jerkbaits and did well 5 fish for two days. Biggest was mid forties. Did see one fish of 50. The Island right out from the launch was the most productive, outside side.
vance Posted August 3, 2013 Report Posted August 3, 2013 My cousin lives on the lake and she says they get them right out in front of her house all the time.Unfortunately ive never been there so I cant tell you where it is on the lake. vance
BucktownAngler Posted November 13, 2016 Report Posted November 13, 2016 (edited) where are the Stoco skis this time of year? the water level is low, and weeds are dying if not dead already. Edited November 13, 2016 by Boss
SuperDave Posted November 14, 2016 Report Posted November 14, 2016 Was just there last week. Water levels very low. Fished all the usual areas. Lots of bait balls marked at river entrance trolled the heck out of it got nothing. 2 other boats fishing it both got skunked too. That lake is simply on or off, no in between.
landry Posted November 15, 2016 Report Posted November 15, 2016 We fished it in September for Muskie. Got skunked AGAIN!
