jimmer Posted November 2, 2012 Report Posted November 2, 2012 Anyone else have the opportunity to see the Sheepdogs and Sloan at Showplace in Peterborough last night. My wife was diligent in phoning in to win tickets from The Wolf and we had the pleasure of sitting in the second row to watch these two Canadian rock bands. The Sheepdogs rocked the joint and sounded a lot like Lynyrd Skynyrd with their own twist. It was both The Wolf and Sloan's twentieth birthday party. Everything was great, but I found it wierd that The Wolf didn't throw out any t-shirts or hats to the audience.

bare foot wader Posted November 3, 2012 Report Posted November 3, 2012 Sloan is a great band...I went to college in Ptbo, bumped into them on the street corner downtown and I said hello, wished I had tickets, sold out venue at the trash, I had 4 tickets in my hand just like that...down to earth guys also seen them at guelph university, with joel plaskett emergency..they always put up a good show sounds like another great time
