Gregoire Posted October 6, 2012 Report Posted October 6, 2012 I'm thinking about breaking out the winch tomorrow in order to slow my presentation down. Last time out I misses a fish on the eight, and I think if I would have slowed things down she may have ate. I am using a conquest currently, and am not burning the blades in, but I think the winch would force me to be just a bit slower. Especially with thge cold front rolling a slow approach may help. What do you musky guys think?
lew Posted October 6, 2012 Report Posted October 6, 2012 The water isn't really that cold yet, so I don't think I'd be slowing down too much. We were trolling them successfully last weekend on the Larry at close to 5 MPH.
outllaw Posted October 6, 2012 Report Posted October 6, 2012 another couple weeks. we troll and slow down in late october.
