Tell me where to go...

My buddy and I have decided to head out first thing in the morning (from Scarberia) to put his boat in, and fish tomorrow at Rice Lake.

 

Just got off the phone with him, and he says that he would like to grab some live bait (minnows) on the way there.

 

I haven't a clue as to where we can do this.... any helpful suggestions?

There is a small place just north of port hope on hwy 28 not sure of the name of the place

if your going to rice lake stop by bj tackle he will have bait... the one archer379 is thinking is elliots live bate.. some times they are not open .. bj tackle will be open

Hmmm.... OK, well I guess if I don't see anything going up 28 we will try and find BJ Tackle.

BJ Tackle is right in Bewdley beside the boat launch. Good luck on Rice.

I have to send a shout out to Ben everytime I can.

 

When I held my Big Brothers & Sisters fish days Ben let me use his property for BBQ and awards. The township was giving me a hard time for permits, he heard about these events and stepped in.

 

You'd be hard pressed to get a better pulse on what going on with Rice Lake then at BJ Tackle in Bewdley.

He told us where to fish, what to use, and we just kept reeling in pickerel....
