35Wailin Posted May 5, 2012 Report Share Posted May 5, 2012 My sister sent me this picture today of a bird wing. She wanted help to ID it, but I couldn't be much assistance. The mottled colouring reminds me of a woodcock, but the size is too large. One of my books suggests maybe a ptarmigan in summer plumage, but I don't think they are around the Sudbury area.
