Twocoda Posted May 1, 2012 Report Share Posted May 1, 2012 im not sure if its true or not (better half told me) but ....grackles lay their eggs in other birds nests (Robins Etc) and the host parents end up starving their own young trying to feed the grackle babies continuously...she refers to them as freeloaders around our feeders...when they move in the cardinals and blue jays take off instantly....
