I need it in the classic Yamaha blue, need to airbrush out a bunch of surface scratches I got onone side. Roy Posted January 3, 2012 Report Share Posted January 3, 2012 Remember that even with the exact colour, it'll never exactly match the original ( because of age etc...) if you're only doing a touch-up. If it's the cowl that's bunged up, do the whole cowl, removing any decals and prepping the surface as per directions on the paint container. Decals are available for almost any age motor. aniceguy Posted January 4, 2012 Report Share Posted January 4, 2012 (edited) had a lower unit on a yamaha that I painted a few years back Im almost certain this company sold me the paint and clear coat that is OEM http://www.dpars.com/colorrite.aspx if you use the section ot find the paint you ll find the exact OEM match, make sure you understand the paints and its flash time,, if your priming it dont let it sit long once its flashed shoot the other coat Edited January 4, 2012 by aniceguy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
