first outing on the pin

after wanting to get one for quite some time and recently seeing once again how effective it can be i finally bit the bullet and picked up my first centerpin. i picked up the okuma aventa and a 13' st. croix avid. took thursday off in hopes to break it in and it was quite a successful day. ended up going 6 for 9. heres a few pics

i fished my usual spots a bunch this fall just not in the past couple weeks, and no the one we have at the shop is with a 10'6" streamside rod, i grabbed a 13' st. croix avid

Took me about 10 trips before I got my very first a couple years back. Haven't gotten one since. That's great you went 6 for 9. Go get them again soon!

Congratulations on your outing. I know the rings on your rod fit tight but I would strongly recommend that you tape them in place so you can't knock one loose and have your reel fall off.
