fishing n autograph Posted December 1, 2011 Report Posted December 1, 2011 maybe some day they'll spend that money on a real team lol....go leafs go!
GBW Posted December 1, 2011 Report Posted December 1, 2011 maybe if they changed the name from "Leafs" to "Musky's" more people would try and catch a game from time to time...
Ben_Daniels Posted December 1, 2011 Report Posted December 1, 2011 Clearly they know how to run a profitable business, a winning team's another matter. I guess it makes sense to spend less on a team if they're still gonna fill up the seats, maybe if people weren't such die hard fans they'd be forced to spend more money lol. PS I don't even watch hockey
craigdritchie Posted December 1, 2011 Report Posted December 1, 2011 Just supports what I've said for years - who says you need to win in order to make money?
Guest ThisPlaceSucks Posted December 1, 2011 Report Posted December 1, 2011 Having not won a cup since '67 will not hurt the leafs business model until another team takes up residence in southern Ontario and succeeds.
