Ok...a walleye that is 24" weighs what? Does it progress so much poundage per inch?

How about a northern that is 35"? Does it progress so much poundage per inch also?

DOES IT REALLY MATTER?????

there are several tables out there with that information . You also need to include girth of the fish to get an accurate estimation of weight. Each species puts weigh t on differently depending on basic body shape as the two you mentioned.

A 24" Walleye could weigh 3lbs or 8lbs, you need the girth. The fish calculators can be off too, the only way to be accurate is with a certified scale. I have measured and weighted fish and compared to the calculators a couple times before, they are usually very close, withing 10% over or under so it gives you a good idea.
