mike rousseau Posted November 18, 2011 Report Share Posted November 18, 2011 i was thinking about getting a portable ice kit for my 597ci hd di and was wondering if anybody bought one of these kits? what does it come with? from what i can tell you need the kit... as well as a power cord and a ice-ducer... on amazon you can get all this for 160 bucks... then my 597 will be a year round set up... im talking about the KIT here... not just a soft pack... from what i can tell the kit comes with a soft pack...battery...charrger...and mount for head unit.. also... right now i have a vexilar fl-8 ultra pack... is it worth selling my vexilar to make the switch... im thinking about doing this so i can have sonar and gps on the ice as well as more features on my humminbird unit compared to my vex... thanks for any help everyone mike Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
