solopaddler Posted September 20, 2011 Report Posted September 20, 2011 looking at paquettes camp for my next fishing trip for 12 guys. hows the fishing and the lodge? any other sugestions for lodges? Keep driving down the road past Paquettes to Happy Day Lodge on Windermere lake. It's 10,000 times better.

Except for tucking you in bed at night, you've been getting perhaps the best advice that anyone in Ontario can offer you. Take it and run with it before it's gone.
michigander fisherman Posted September 20, 2011 Author Report Posted September 20, 2011 yes i have and now i have a list of about four lodges i have to decide from. osullivans rainbow, shining tree camp, camp anjigami and green wilderness resort
michigander fisherman Posted September 20, 2011 Author Report Posted September 20, 2011 also happy day lodge
solopaddler Posted September 20, 2011 Report Posted September 20, 2011 O'Sullivan's Rainbow and Happy Day are in an entirely different stratosphere compared to your other choices. They're also both very popular and booked far in advance (for good reason). Between the two Happy Day has superior cabins and good fishing on a big beautiful lake. O'Sullivan has adequate cabins and amazing fishing on a big beautiful lake.
