Well its almost that time, bow season opens at the end of the month.

 

How are people preparing, cleared shooting lanes on Saturday and spent sunday in bed paying for it.

 

 

 

I am on a great farm with deer from yearlings to a deer I saw just south of the property that was about 210 non typical.

 

 

This is the best one I have seen there, hope he made it to this year cuz he is going to be an awesome 5 year old

I havent been out,but the corn is planted on the northend this year and beans are all around the rest.I got feed for them.

The non typical i almost ran over a couple miles to te south of my stand is truly a record book animal. 10 inch drop ttine on te left side, 10 point with mass, and and an outside spread OFC 36 inches. Sat in front f my truck 5 feet away for 20 seconds staring at me.

 

 

never seen anything like it. Not even muley huinting, which he looked like

My hunting partner and I both made a pact to hunt more waterfowl at the start of the season, and hold off until late October, maybe November before we start beating the bush.
