brandon Posted September 4, 2011 Report Posted September 4, 2011 (edited) I headed to Lakeview Marina here in Windsor last night to take some shots of the approaching storm. I ended up being pretty far away from my car when the storm hit and I got soaked but it was totally worth it! Raf Posted September 8, 2011 Report Posted September 8, 2011 nice shots, mind sharing what settings (aperture, shutter, iso) you would use to capture lightning? my feeble attempt:
brandon Posted September 8, 2011 Author Report Posted September 8, 2011 Hey Raf, Nice shot! I've added the shot specs below each photo. Hope it helps!
Raf Posted September 8, 2011 Report Posted September 8, 2011 Thanks Brandon, it does. If I recall correctly mine was a 30sec exposure as well, don't recall aperture or ISO. I need a better cam, it taken with an old(ish) Panasonic FZ7 P&S on a tripod.
BillM Posted September 12, 2011 Report Posted September 12, 2011 Raf, that's a great pic man! Keep at it! I've tried to capture a few night sequences but they seem super grainy even @ ISO100.. I'll post some up from my recent Nipigon trip.
