I herd the guy who was killed was standing on shore, when a drunk boater ran ashore, and hit him? Hey spinnerbaitking, this guy was from your home town... One of the McGlynn clan.. OutdoorDan Posted July 14, 2011 Report Posted July 14, 2011 It's not very clear if he hit someone on shore or if the victims were in the boat? Not surprising that alcohol was involved, especially at 3 in the morning.

I herd the guy who was killed was standing on shore, when a drunk boater ran ashore, and hit him? Hey spinnerbaitking, this guy was from your home town... One of the McGlynn clan.. Too bad. This is the lake my cottage is on. I guess now I can expect even more OPP presence as a result of this stupidity. Sounds callous, but alcohol was involved and therefore this was all about bad choices effecting others. Feel really bad for the victims... Edited July 14, 2011 by JTorra
nroadrunner Posted July 14, 2011 Report Posted July 14, 2011 I live in Baysville and appears all 3 people were in the boat person killed was not onshore, at least not before they hit the island may have been found on shore from impact. Word is at least one of them worked at a local marina. Another accident that could have easily been avoided. Ian
cityfisher Posted July 15, 2011 Report Posted July 15, 2011 drunkin boating at 3am! always a smart thing to do! RIP
lunkerbasshunter Posted July 15, 2011 Report Posted July 15, 2011 i feel bad for the families but serious drunk at 3am in a boat is not the most clever of things to do.
