mike rousseau Posted June 28, 2011 Report Posted June 28, 2011 this bad boy is a prime example of why i use steel wire or heavy florocarbon to make my walleye spinners... happens all the time... and i even got my pb 53.5 incher on a small walleye spinner with #4 blade... these big animals will pick up a small bait so im glad i was prepared for it... p.s.we also boated 8 walleye

Nice lunge too. btw can muskie bite through braid? they can bite threw most materials... the heavier the material... the better your chances... ive had musky chew threw wire...braid...mono...ans florocarbon... but in all cases the materials were not heavy enough for what i was asking of them
