Roy Posted January 28, 2011 Report Posted January 28, 2011 They don't look too solid at all. If you just want to put the rod down to grab a gweech maybe ok. Again, just my uneducated opinion.
aplumma Posted January 28, 2011 Report Posted January 28, 2011 Looks scary to me also I use a seat pole that fits into the socket and welded 2 rod holders on a plate for my trolling rig. BTW the J hook on the bottomside will damage the fiberglass it has almost no surface area to spread the load. Art
