Fishn Technishn Posted March 15, 2007 Report Posted March 15, 2007 Gonna try my nfirst photo post Hopefully you will see a bass that thought he could swallow a perch only slightly smaller than himself. Both fish were released and swam away!! FT
just2manylures Posted March 15, 2007 Report Posted March 15, 2007 No lure is too big. Great job withyour first photo post!
BLACKFISH88 Posted March 15, 2007 Report Posted March 15, 2007 if the perch was in bass' mouth and bass had perch in his mouth which one bit the lure. just wonderin?
mepps Posted March 15, 2007 Report Posted March 15, 2007 lol, thats what i was trying to figure out blackfish...
Victor Posted March 15, 2007 Report Posted March 15, 2007 i was thinking about that too mepps and blackfish ... that happened to me once but the tailend of the perch was in the largie's mouth... because i hooked the perch and the bass came after it thinking that the perch was wounded or something (it's the bass in my avatar) ... which makes more sense lol
Fishn Technishn Posted March 15, 2007 Author Report Posted March 15, 2007 Guess what? Neither one had a lure in it's mouth! I was fishin' with my kids & heard all this splashing going on, went to see what the ruckus was all about. Found these two doin' the oral thing. Pretty cool to see it firsthand. As I mentioned, I released both....after thinking about it a while, maybe I should have hooked them up for Musky bait!! Just kidding. FT
GbayGiant Posted March 15, 2007 Report Posted March 15, 2007 It's funny how much it happens when you think about it. In the fall when your using 4" shiners for walleye the 6- 10 " perch can't get enough. Sometimes I go to giant bait just to keep the perch off.
