just a pic from the weekend

it was raining the day before, so the water was really muddy and the fishing was SLOW =S

only caught 3 bass from 7am to 3 pm

any1 have any ideas of what kind of lure i should use for muddy water? or what spot i should be fishing on a lake when the water is muddy?

When the water is dirty or muddy, you want lures that make lots of noise and vibration... like the rattling crankbait you caught that one on, or spinnerbaits. Solid dark, or very bright colours should help too. Nice bucketmouth by the way!

Yep something with vibration. Like a spinner bait with colorado blades or a rattling crank bait. Chartreuse or jet black are my favorite colors for stained water. Scented baits and top waters work well also.

I applaud your resolve. These days when I see muddy water, I go fishing in the Tim Horton's drive through, then go home, or hit a lake where the water quality is not affected by rain.
