bigfish1965 Posted February 24, 2007 Report Posted February 24, 2007 I'm reasonably certain all other rules of hunting will apply.

chilli Posted February 25, 2007 Report Posted February 25, 2007 (edited) Me bruvvah suggests that a breeding pair of raccoons (raton laveur) be dropped on each cormorant infested island. This is one of the smartest things I've evr heard There are mink on the break wall in Port Colbourne but they have no effect on the numbers of cormorants. One of the bassmaster groups told me they were thinking of putting up an osprey nest as these birds of prey deter the cormorants. Unfortunately the ospreys don't like the man made platforms. One of the best things they could do for that breakwall is cut those dead trees down........ and drop a couple of coons on there. Edited February 25, 2007 by chilli
