How I spent my Christmas Vacation

No real time for fishing, not enough snow for snowmobiling. Plus, you sorta gotta be around family through the holidays so I spent time in the shop along with visiting and such.

 

 

we have...jewelry boxes. From a plan I found in a magazine while Christmas shopping.

If you're gonna do the tool setup, may as well make it worth while.

Birdseye maple and Cherry.

 

 

 

still glueing up drawers for the third one, but i has to get some finish on the 2 that were done.

 

Still need to add the green velvet linning to the drawers.

the mill where I get it has their office floor all done with birdseye and tiger maple..its pretty impressive

Beautiful, I was hoping they were some kind of up scale tackle box/ lure holders! Look great either way even if you want to use them for jewelry.

Never thought of that george. I always told my wife that i thought some of them fancy salmon lures would make good earings. They would prolly look good in that box too....maybe a pair of hammered gold sweedish pimples with red blades on em.
