Mike the Pike Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 I can't complain about my year some nice walleyes,Small Mouth Bass only little Pike but I caught the biggest fish of my life this year an 18 ound salmon.Overall I brought out some new kids this year and taught them all about fishing .Strange I did not catch a Large Mouth this summer. The Highlight of my summer was bringing out a young lad a friend of the family's 13 yr old .He never caught a pike in his life . That day he caught five along with an 8 pounder .Priceless .His face was lit up like the fourth of July.
Dara Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 Well, I got a new boat and had high hopes of a really good year in a new to me fishery...St marys river. The weather did not co-operate at all. I got out a fair bit but had a hard time connecting. I will call it barely acceptable but it was new and nice to have a real boat to fish from. Higher hopes for next year. I will get out a few times this winter but mostly I will be burning up the trails.
Moosebunk Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 Winter - tough weather, good fishing. Spring - tough weather, good fishing. Summer - weird weather, OK fishing. Fall - weird weather, OK fishing. It was a weird and sometimes tough weather year with some OK to good fishing. Hehehe!!!
Fish4Eyes Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 Started my career in june, so I didn't get a chance to fish nearly as much as I would of liked to this year. Working part time and going up north once a month during summer was much better .
