skinny Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 I'm sure this has been around I looked a bit (few pages back) i have just aquired my first boat with an outboard attached it will be outside for the winter but want to ensure I don't have issues in spring. the boat is ariving home on friday going to run it a bit just cause it's new to me then what do i do to store it so it doesn't freeze and such
Fisherman Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 Look up to the right..see SEARCH..type "winterizing" in there, there's oodles of info and you have to read it, on this page or the others, cause be dammed if I'm reading it out loud to ya.
vinnimon Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 Lots of info online.I boats.com has been a good source for me.For the initial winterizing get a pro to do it and watch.Trust me its worth it. i baught one that was winterized by the owner at the time,2 cracks in the block in the spring. The engine had to be rebuilt anyway.
skinny Posted December 3, 2009 Author Report Posted December 3, 2009 hey all thanks for the direction i was looking with poor search tools
