misfish Posted November 29, 2009 Report Posted November 29, 2009 I was offered a tag for next week by a member here. Great gesture from someone I have never met. It,s in my area. Question is,can it be transfered to me do to health reasons, and how do we go about it,if it,s allowed at all.
irishfield Posted November 29, 2009 Report Posted November 29, 2009 Get it right from the horses mouth Brian.. call CO's Wayne Lintack or Rick Williams. If you need their direct cell #'s PM me !
Fang Posted November 29, 2009 Report Posted November 29, 2009 Brian I'm pretty sure transferring is only for group allocations like moose. As far as I know transferring of deer tags is not done.
paulyboy83 Posted November 30, 2009 Report Posted November 30, 2009 I just finished my hunter safety course and we were instructed that the only tag that is transferrable is a moose tag that has been applied for by a group. Deer tags are non-transferrable. PB
misfish Posted November 30, 2009 Author Report Posted November 30, 2009 (edited) Just so all know,Rick returned my call today, and the answer is like mentioned NO. Always good to ask. Skud Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 Hey, I just found out that it's okay..................as long as you don't get caught!
irishfield Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 Yep.. just carry his entire wallet so "your" ID matches the name on the tag....
