Superior Steel pt. III - *now with video*

After a decent weekend last week, couldn't wait to get back out today.

Arrived at the stream in darkness. After gearing up and having a quick beverage we hit the river. I had my first 3lb hen in before the other two gents even had their lines tied up. And they wonder why I tie up the night before.

 

In total today I went 3 for 5 due to a few breakoffs...

Wow congrats! i was fishin some superior tribs yesterday and didnt even see any steel! i had a few missed hits. and got a few brookies on a cleo but that was it!

i had to go back to the rapids today to make sure i still had it haha got to hens around 7 lbs... but those superior steelhead still seem to elude me haha

Nice. I missed 3 today at the powerhouse tailrace and watched another board member net one.

It was my aniversary so I couldn't stay too long,,,but at least I got out. Trying again tomorrow

Also can't believe how high it is....like a foot or more from last fall. Might have to head down there at christmas, could be interesting to get out though.
