Hooked Posted November 17, 2009 Report Posted November 17, 2009 (edited) My son and I took a drive to Welland recently and I seen some cars parked on the side of the road. It was by a bridge, on Hwy 406, just north of Welland. I decided to stop and check it out. I did see one guy fishing, by the train tracks, but he didn't have much luck. I was wondering if anyone here has any experience fishing any stretches of the Welland River? Is it any good, what kind of fish can be expected? Just thought I might check it out since it is fairly close to my house. Edited November 17, 2009 by Hooked

HTHM Posted November 17, 2009 Report Posted November 17, 2009 If you have a boat, launch at the Wellandport community center, and go east or west. Some great bass habitat along that stretch.
charlied Posted November 18, 2009 Report Posted November 18, 2009 forget going there....just head to the Niagara!
