  3. it gets way to warm in those ponds to hold the trout in summer me and the women and her friend went out there yesterday and did quite well between the two girls they caught over thirty fish i on the other hand have caught two and not just two for the trip two fish for the open water season

  5. i would go with the lower end st. croix rods they are really nice and not to much money you can get the triuph for 90 bucks
  6. catch some sucker and keep it for bait for the cats

  10. i have a question that will also fit with this topic i was given a fish finder right befor christam it is new and un opened the box says it a lowrance X67C but when i opened the box later noticed it was an eagle so my question is there an eagle version of the X67C or is there anything i can do about it never got a recete and have no idea where it was bought

  13. i never said it was stock i have a pic of it somewhere on either my comp or on one of my cell phones it has a turbo on it and its not a work quad its a racing quad i dont own one myself but my friends are right into hitting the trails one of them races and is sponsered by yamaha
  14. Vince you gotta come down my way to do some ice fishing in port D the perch are biting like crazy and i still have not caught a pike yet give me a shout soon
  15. i dont know what any of you are talking about ATV not being good in deep snow all last winter me and a few of my friends were out everyother day ripping around in 2 to 3 foot of snow never had a problem getting stuck or losing speed and this was with all the quads we were running 450 yamaha 700 suzi and 800 bombi (which did 119MPH in the snow)
  16. catch them through the ice in port colbourn by the hundreds lots of fun make great bait and taste great

  20. do not rent a hut on geulph lake we did that once and the huts were in thirty feet of water and no one was catching anything that deep belwoods is a good bet for lots of pike and some huge perch if you want to come down my way we have an auger and hut and we have some fantastic ice fishing all around the niagara area for everything trout walleye moster pike perch gills just everything
  21. we ice fish with a man from another board and he swares by using a float for ice fishing for pike because once you set the depth pull out another few feet of line for the fish to take the large bait without resistance and he does really well that way for myself i use a rocking rod holder so when they take it they have about two feet befor they feel the hook you will find that alot of the time it will take them awhile to swallow the bait

  23. attach a big sharp chisel to a long pole with rope round the end so you dont lose it
