drop shotting help

what type of knot do you use for attaching the hook to your line everytime i try the hook ends up upside down or to the side or it just wont stay straight thanks in advance for any help

Are you running dropshot hooks?

 

I use a palomar to the hook, then attach the weight to the access.. Works great.

run the tag end back through the eye of the hook from the top down after tying the knot

I was just going to mention that.The hook should stand up,not down.
