drwxr Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 caught a female today and noticed it had a tag on the dorsal fin, removed it and released the fish. anyone know what are they used for?
ADB Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 Were you supposed to remove that? I would think its used to track the fish.
johnnyb Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 send an email to the address on the tag and ask'em. or go to the spoonpullers website and see what's goin on.

Fang Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 http://spoonpullers.proboards.com/index.cg...tagemandtrackem all you need to know.
CLofchik Posted October 5, 2009 Report Posted October 5, 2009 Which number was it btw? It's an unofficial tagging program that's been going on for a few years to track chinook migrations in Lake O, go to Spoonpullers.com and they'll let you know when & where your fish was caught, how big it was then, et al.
