Fishin on Humber River near 427 and finch?

Hi,

I am new to this forum. Seems like a great place.

Just wondering if anyone knows if

1. Fishing is allowed on humber river right by 427 and finch. I am interested in Catch and release

2. If it is allowed, what kind of fishes are there in the river?

i've fished it 20 times or so as it runs through my backyard right behind humber college.

let's just say i've given up.

 

about 1 chub every 5 attempts.

i gave up.

That areas pretty dead. You either have to go to the lower area or the headwaters

The Humber does suck. Well...most of it anyways.

So whats around that neighbourhood thats good for catch and release. Any lakes or ponds around?
