My g/f bought a new LG 5500 and the battery cover fell off somewhere. We called LG and a new cover costs 50 bucks. The phone costs $100. John Posted September 9, 2009 Report Share Posted September 9, 2009 Rick, I'm not sure of the design of this phone but if you don't need the back cover to hold the battery in you can buy hard cases in a variety of styles and colours that clip over the whole phone.
