fishing in Guelph Area

I'll be working in downtown Guelph for a couple of days in late september. Can anyone help with some areas to fish? I see the ermosa runs right through town. Any good spots to fish from shore? Any help is appreciated.

There are a few conservation areas within, give them a try. Pike and bass lurking in most.

Both the Eramosa and Speed run through town. Pick a section and back pack the shore line. Take along 2 different tactics. One fast and one finesse. You'll be amazed at what's there.

Guelph lake conservation area has some really good fishing and they rent kayaks so you can get off the shoreline.
